Happy Fall, Y’all!Comments : 2 Posted in : Casseroles, Crockpot, Fruit, Holiday Dinners, Sauces and Marinades on by : Julie Tags: apples, crock pot, fall, leaves, pumpkins, scarecrows, seasons
Y’all, after a much needed hiatus, I am back! It just seems like life takes over sometimes and things fall by the wayside. I am excited to be back, bringing you easy, lighter, yummier recipes than ever!
Fall is by far my most favorite time of year – I love the cooking and decorating that go along with the season…as well as haunted houses, corn mazes and pumpkin patches! Cooler, crispier air that gently releases vibrant leaves from branches, haystacks and scarecrows – what’s not to love?
I really look forward to fresh apples and first-pressed ciders. There are so many things you can do with apples. Candied apples, Waldorf Salad, apple pie, apple butter, and one of my seasonal favorites – applesauce made in my crock pot!
