Ogirchanka is an old dish made from sauerkraut. Initially, this soup, as they say, was cooked only from cucumbers, with sour cream or milk and flour. Then corn grits appeared in the ogirchan recipe. This unusual soup will appeal to lovers of pickles.

How to cook ogirchanka: Cut pickled

cucumbers into strips and throw them into the boiled broth. Traditionally, cucumbers are cooked for an ogirchanka for about an hour, but, in my opinion, 30 minutes is enough to cook the whole soup.

Add the coarsely chopped carrots immediately.
