Delicious and healthy turkish puree soup merjimek chorbasy. Each housewife prepares this soup a little differently. Here's my take on this wonderful puree soup.

Food (for 4 servings)
Red lentils - 1.5 cups
Medium potatoes - 2 pcs.
Medium carrots - 1 pc.
Bulb onions - 1 pc.
Water - 2.5 liters
Tomato paste - 1 tbsp the spoon
Butter - 1 tsp
Cumin - 1 pinch
Thyme - 2 pinches
Dry mint - 2 pinches
Salt to taste

How to make Turkish lentil soup merjimek chorbasa:

1. Cut potatoes and carrots into small cubes. Three onions on a grater.

2. Rinse the lentils until the water is clear. Put the lentils in the pot.

3. Add potatoes, carrots and onions to the pot. Fill it all with cold water and cook the Turkish lentil puree over medium heat until the vegetables are cooked (about 30 minutes).
