Prepare food for the green pea soup.

How to make canned pea soup:
Peel potatoes. Cut into slices, wash.

Pour in water (about 2 liters) and boil until almost cooked. To do this, bring the water to a boil, add salt, and cover. Cook over low heat for 15 minutes.

During this time, prepare the rest of the vegetables.
Peel the onion, chop finely.

Peel, wash, chop carrots.

Heat 1 tbsp in a frying pan. a spoonful of vegetable oil. Put onion, fry it, stirring occasionally, over medium heat until golden brown (5 minutes).

Separately sauté finely chopped carrots in butter. To do this, in another frying pan, heat 2 tbsp. tablespoons of vegetable oil. Put the carrots and fry them over medium heat, stirring occasionally, for 7-8 minutes.

Combine onions and carrots and add tomato paste.
If using tomatoes, grate them directly over the pan.

At the end of cooking potatoes, add browned vegetables, peas with liquid and cook the soup until the potatoes are tender (another 5 minutes).

Chop the dill.

Season the soup, add the dill. Remove saucepan from heat.
You can add spices (cilantro, curry).
