Beef goulash is a fragrant, juicy meat stew with onions, carrots and grated tomatoes.

Prepare the required ingredients.
Wash the beef fillet and dry with a paper towel, cut into small pieces.
Wash the onion, peel, cut into small cubes.
Wash carrots, peel, grate on a coarse grater.
Heat a frying pan with vegetable oil and send the beef pieces into it. Fry the meat over high heat for 15-20 minutes, without covering the pan with a lid.
Reduce fire. Add chopped onions to the meat and continue to fry over medium heat until the onions are transparent.
Add carrots, stir, fry for another 2-3 minutes.
Add mashed tomatoes. Season with salt, pepper and stir.
Add hot water. In this case, the liquid should completely cover the meat. Stir, turn on low heat, cover the pan with a lid.
Simmer for one hour, stirring occasionally, until the meat is tender. If the meat is soft, the goulash is ready.
Taste ready-made goulash for salt and pepper. Add salt if necessary. Add dried herbs, stir and simmer for another 5 minutes.
