How to make a "Bosnian pot" with meat and potatoes:
Cut the beef into large portions. Peel the potatoes and cut them in half, or for large potatoes, into 4 pieces. Peel the garlic.

Peel carrots, celery and cut into small strips. Peel the onion and cut into rings. Mix vegetables.

Put a bay leaf in a clay pot at the bottom, then 1/3 of the vegetables. Put half the meat and half the potatoes on them, evenly alternating spices and garlic with whole cloves between them. Season with salt and pepper. Then repeat the layers.

Put the remaining vegetables on top.
Dissolve tomato paste with broth (water) and wine and pour into a pot. Cover and place in a cold oven. Turn on the oven at 200-210 degrees for 30 minutes. Then reduce the temperature to 170-175 degrees and simmer the beef in a pot for 2.5-3 hours (it can be longer, up to 4 hours).

Serve the "Bosnian pot" with meat and potatoes on the table right in the pot, from which put it into portioned plates.
