Tortellini is a fine filled pasta that you can simply boil and serve with sauce, or you can prepare a more interesting dish for which you need to bake tortellini in the oven with cheese and ham.

Food (for 8 servings)
Dry tortellini with cheese - 450 g
Parmesan cheese (shredded on a grater) - 1/4 cup
Gruyere or Swiss cheese (shredded on a grater) - 1/2 cup (60 g total)
Walnuts (Broken) - 1/2 cup
Fried ham or bacon (finely chopped) - 60 g
Red onion (finely chopped) - 3 tbsp. l.
Shallots (finely chopped) - 2 tbsp. l.
Butter - 1 tbsp. l.
Low-fat cream - 2 cups
Milk - 1/2 cup
Egg yolks (slightly beaten) - 2 pcs.
Fresh sage (chopped) - 1 tbsp. l.
Ground black pepper - 1/4 tsp.

1. Turn on the oven to preheat to 200 degrees. Boil the tortellini in salted water until cooked, according to the instructions on the package.

2. In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter, add onions and shallots, fry, stirring occasionally, until soft. Add cream to a frying pan, bring to a boil, immediately remove from heat. Gradually add about 1 cup of the creamy mixture to the egg yolks, pour this mixture into a saucepan with the remaining creamy mixture, mix well. Place the saucepan over medium-low heat and cook, stirring occasionally, for about 10 minutes, until thickened. Add Parmesan, sage and black pepper into a saucepan.

3. Place half the tortellini in a 2-liter ovenproof dish, sprinkle with Gruyère or Swiss cheese, and add half the cream sauce. Top with the remaining pasta, sprinkle with nuts, ham and pour over the remaining sauce. Place the dish in a preheated oven and bake the pasta for about 20 minutes, until bubbling while boiling. Let the dish stand for 10 minutes before serving.
